What is Fisher Investments Europe Limited's core business?
-
Fisher Investments Europe Limited offers personalised wealth management services to high net worth individuals. Neither Fisher Investments Europe Limited nor Fisher Investments is a broker and neither derives any revenue from transaction charges. Instead, Fisher Investments charges a fee based on a percentage of a client's asset value under management. The firm's incentive to perform well is directly aligned with clients' investment objectives. Fisher also has no involvement in investment banking activities, an area often presenting numerous conflicts of interest.
What is the investment philosophy of Fisher Investments?
-
Fisher Investments is continually committed to developing new technologies to understand capital markets. It has pioneered numerous financial innovations over the past 20+ years, many of which have become core concepts used in the financial services industry today. Many investment firms have one particular style of investing which they adhere to at all times. Fisher Investments' strategy involves believing no investing style is permanently superior, but instead understands that styles and philosophies cycle in and out of favour over time. As a result, Fisher Investments uses a variety of strategies in dynamically managing clients' assets over time.
-
How is Fisher Investments different from other investment firms?
-
Many investment firms are dedicated to one specific style of investing, using a static approach to style and asset allocation. As a result, these managers tend to do very well when their style is in favour and poorly when their style falls out of favour. Over time this can result in mediocre returns. Fisher Investments has found success in utilising a variable approach in determining asset and style allocation. Our investment firm strives to add value through active management by identifying information not widely known (or interpreting widely known information correctly and differently from other market participants) and then capitalising on those opportunities. Fisher Investments has a proven history of making these active decisions for its clients.
What kind of service do Fisher Investments' private clients receive?
-
Fisher Investments prides itself on providing proactive and personalised service for its clients. Each client has an Investment Counsellor dedicated to serving his/her needs. Clients may have as little or as much direct contact as desired, and their Investment Counsellor serves as a liaison to the Investment Policy Committee (IPC), who will ultimately be responsible for making investment decisions. Fisher Investments provides continuous communications - including quarterly valuations, and research reports. Senior management make themselves available to clients through periodic seminars.
Who makes the investment decisions for clients' portfolios?
-
Fisher Investments has a centralised decision-making process. Its Investment Policy Committee (IPC), is comprised of three senior members of the firm who collectively make all strategic investment decisions for the firm. The IPC consists of Ken Fisher, CEO & Chief Investment Officer; Jeff Silk, Vice Chairman; and Andrew Teufel, Co-President and Director of Research. These three individuals bring over sixty years of combined experience to the investment firm.
How does Fisher Investments make money?
-
Fisher Investments is a fee-based money manager and charges a fee based on a percentage of clients' assets under management. Our incentive to perform well is directly aligned with clients' investment objectives. Many investment firms are commission-based, meaning they have an incentive to create turnover in your portfolio. Fisher Investments does not. Its fee schedule is strictly dependent upon asset size, but will often be less than many other alternatives available to high net worth individuals. Please contact Fisher Investments Europe Limited and a member of its staff will be happy to address any specific situations and the relevant fees.
