Common Complaints Fisher Investments Hears from UK Investors

Since Fisher Investments began serving investors in the United Kingdom over a decade ago, we have found many individual investors come to us with similar past experiences concerning their former financial advisor. This page discusses three common, informal complaints we hear.

Static Asset Allocation

Many investors are dissatisfied with a static asset allocation model. While this may be preferable for some investors, it is not ideal for all investors. As business and economic conditions change, static asset allocation can be too rigid. A dynamic allocation strategy offers the ability to be proactive and flexible based on economic conditions and market cycles.

Disjointed Management Strategy

Lack of a cohesive management strategy can lead to investor complaints and frustration. Asset class, country and sector overlap are all possible outcomes when a cohesive strategy is not in place. Fisher Investments believes it's important to take into consideration all investments, even those managed individually or by third-party advisors, when implementing a portfolio strategy for an individual.

Poor Client Service

Poor service from a financial advisor can lead to customer complaints. We believe high standards of service and frequent interaction with clients are core elements of a positive experience. Fisher Investments prides itself in having a team of Investment Counsellors working directly with clients to understand their personal needs and communicating back our views on the markets.
